“Engaging in EMDR therapy with Jo has been both enlightening and transformative. The process has allowed me to confront my past trauma in a safe environment and I can’t appreciate enough the supportive way I was guided through the process. Initially, I approached it with scepticism. However, as the sessions progressed, I noticed changes in my feelings and thoughts about certain memories. Jo equipped me with various techniques to manage my anxiety. I felt guided and supported throughout the process and feel a significant difference in how I engage with my trauma.”
“I would strongly recommend EMDR therapy. I helped me manage scenarios I never thought I’d get complete control of. I came in feeling overwhelmed by past trauma, but the structured approach helped me process those memories without feeling traumatised. My psychotherapist guided me through the process with patience and care, and I started noticing significant changes in my ability to handle triggers and emotions in a more structured manner. I feel more in control of my thoughts and how I manage them when memories come back. The tools I gained have been invaluable. EMDR is definitely a transformative therapy patients can use to learn how to manage past memories.”
