I am an accredited Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist and qualified EMDR practitioner working with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma and distressing life experiences. I hold an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am accredited with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP). My work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, integrating EMDR therapy alongside Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy to support clients in processing difficult experiences and reducing emotional distress.
I have a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing PTSD, Complex Trauma, health anxiety, emotional overwhelm, burnout, low self-worth and relationship difficulties. I understand how unresolved experiences can shape patterns of thinking, emotional responses and nervous system activation, often leaving people feeling stuck, hypervigilant or disconnected.

My Training and Education
I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am an accredited member of IAHIP. My training includes, EMDR Level 3 Training, EMDR-informed trauma work, Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy, ongoing specialist trauma training. I continue to deepen my understanding of trauma, attachment, nervous system regulation and the impact of distressing life experiences on emotional wellbeing. I engage in ongoing EMDR Consultancy and professional supervision and CPD to ensure my clients receive the best of evidence-based care.
My Approach
My approach is warm, compassionate and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on creating emotional safety within the therapeutic relationship. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a central part of my work. EMDR is an evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people process traumatic or distressing memories that may continue to affect how they feel, think and respond in the present day. This allows me to support clients to recover from trauma and experience post traumatic growth. I integrate Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, recognising that each client’s experience is unique and working in a collaborative client centred manner. My therapeutic plan is tailored to the individual, allowing space to process difficult experiences while supporting greater emotional regulation, resilience and self-understanding.
